Yesterday was rainy, warm, and wonderful. The rain started about 5pm and lasted through the early hours of the morning. Now the rain has stopped and we have a muggy day today. The air temperature is cool, in the mid 60s, but the wind is coming from the south/southwest so with the humidity it feels warmer. We will most likely not have more rain today but it will be overcast because of the line of low pressure systems and warm front that are attached to a huge collection of thunderstorms. The line of these storms that are expected to hit on Saturday stretch from Canada through Texas and range in severity but in parts of the south flooding is possible. This weekend we will be under a low pressure system with these storms but have warm temperatures because of a massive warm front passing through the area which will affect the severity of the storms we receive.
