I like this website because it shows you the whole United States but you can also click on individual counties to see an up close view of your area. The website also presents weather patterns that affect the whole country and relate their impact to your area, regardless of how far away the pattern is.

This website has great interactive graphics to help tie all the different weather patterns and data together in a way that makes sense to the general user.

This is also a good website for simple weather updates, although the amount of advertisements and trending stories are pretty annoying and reminiscent of the Weather Channel.
