Strange weather day overall. Cloud cover overnight and southerly winds brought warm weather (nearly 32 F in the afternoon) today, with a brief but heavy snow storm early in the morning. Around 10am the sky clouded up, snowed heavily for less than half an hour, and then by 1pm the snow was melted and it was sunny and blue skies yet again. Another cold front has been moving into the area since around 3pm and the winds picked up considerably, even strong enough to blow some of the snow that has been sitting around. The warmer temperatures are already on their way out and temperatures are expected to drop below zero again in the overnight hours.
