Today is much colder than yesterday but the strong winds from last night have waned and brought high altitude cloud cover. There is no precipitation expected today and the humidity is low. There is a high pressure system to the north of us that will come down to our area later this week bringing sunshine while the cooler temperatures are going to continue. Luckily we are missing out on the potentially heavy snow that is covering the entire state of Iowa.
