It started snowing in the wee hours of the morning and in total I believe we got about 5 inches. The snow was light and powdery and accumulated quickly, but ended by 11am. It was warm enough today that it melted off cars and mostly clear sidewalks. Overnight and into tomorrow it will be very cold as the sky will clear and winds will be coming in from the north/north west which will drive temperatures below zero again. But then the winds are expected to shift and southerly winds will warm up the weekend and stay into next week, some days could be in the mid-40s!
