This weekend was very pleasant. Both days were in the 50s/60s but the wind has definitely picked up significantly today. The wind is still coming from the Southwest, but has picked up in strength and frequency of gusts. There is currently wispy looking cloud cover high in the atmosphere which I believe are altostratus clouds.
A low pressure system is expected to come into the area tomorrow and could bring a slight chance of precipitation. On Tuesday the temperature is expected to drop significantly to around the mid 40s for highs for the next week due to the presence of a cold front coming from Canada. There is still very little chance for precipitation expected which will contribute to the continuing drought like conditions across the Midwest and West coast.
