Today is really cold like yesterday because of the high pressure system over the area. Tomorrow and the whole weekend is going to be much warmer though because there will be a high pressure system over the area and a warm front moving in. The winds have also changed from the north to the south, so warm air is coming into the area again. Even though the air temperature is cold, the sun's warmth is melting snow off of roofs and sidewalks. Spring is finally coming, at least for a little bit.
